The Pivot
The Pivot is an important movement to be mastered in Wing Chun Kung Fu. The Pivot is done by turning the whole body including the legs, along an imaginary axis along your spine.
Skillful use of pivoting can qualitatively improve the power in latches and strikes by using whole body rotation as the driving force. Skillful use can also allow you to redirect and dissipate an opponents energy when combined with a blocking technique.
